Master work

So I counted today that I have to write 13 more pages for my master that is till 70 pages, what is minimum. An yesterday I was waiting all day answer from my supervisor, but he did not reply, so lets wait today, despite I am so worried what comments he will write. Lets hope for best, despite my stomach is turning like washing machine from stress.

Eastern border

There is very nice theatre club „Eastern border” (“Austrumu robeža:” in Latvian) in Riga and I had that pleasure to visit it some time ago. It is small, but homey. Visitors can sit next to small round tables which in the middle have small lamps or tables like in student auditoriums and enjoy theatre play or chit chat. All club is arranged in Soviet Union style, even plates or sugar-basin are with Soviet Union symbols like hammer and sickle, on the wall you can see Latvian Soviet Union flag, but in the hall what first you see is Soviet union army uniforms (I remember when I was child I took out from wardrobe my mom’s brother's army uniform and tried it on, specially I liked hat). Even bathroom has these ex-empire symbols. I can even say this is museum-theatre-club- restaurant. Despite one my friend asked me to find sport costume with Soviet Union symbols in Latvia, I can say nowadays even for Latvia this is exotic, because it is rare to see Soviet Union symbols.

Now I will turn to play what I saw. I saw play “Salidojums” (Reunion). This is play about how ex-classmates meet in reunion, they tell to each other about their lifes, remember school times and sing. Songs are big part of all play, actually I was surprised how these actors in live sing so good. In this play you can of course search some deep philosophical pearls, but this play is intended as light entertainment comedy where you can laugh and remember your own school time. Actually play was mostly in Russian (maybe because they wanted to make more authentic feeling). 3 ex-classmates Margarita (Маргарита), Antonina (Антонина) and Arvīds studied in 2 languages flow school, what on that time quite usual. Half of pupils were Russians and half Latvians, but as they showed on play they had very friendly relations. Arvīds tried to explain to his ex-classmates how he got 8 children from 4 women using nuts as visual aids. Antonina demonstrated her excellent presenting and persuading skills, when she advertised some weird pillow and after that you can not say no to this product. Margarita even arrived to reunion with her wonderful live dog. These and other kind surprises made this play excellent. To let you to peek in this play I added video.

Amazing Spain

Arriving in Spain-Arroyomolinos.

Trip started on 11. July When I and my love Miguel- went from Latvia to Spain. We flew from Riga to Munich and then from Munich to Madrid. That is pitty that there is no direct flight froom Latvia to Madrid with AirBaltic. But anyway- in these flights I first felt so big turbulence, what made me not so comfortable, but thatks to God with me was my love and I felt support:) When we arrived in Munchen airport I was so surprised how big is airport. And we did not had so much time to go to our connecting flight around 30 minutes, so you reallly need good orientation skills to find everything fast. Luckuly we found it very fast. Flight from Munchen with Lufthansa I liked very much, becuase service is very good and lunch what they offered was very nice- pasta. Njammi.

In Madrid airport Miguel's sister and brother in law waited us and took us to Arroyomolinos, where Miguel lives. Arroyomolinos is very nice quiet town near Madrid. I was surprised how clean is city and fountains there. I come from small town next to Riga and it was interesting to compare. And I can say my town fountain is nothing if you compare with Arroyomolinos, despite I think inhabitants in Arroyomolinos already get used to these thinks and perceive them as ordinar.

Biggest surprise for me was swimming pool, what almost everybody had in their garden. But I think in Spain it is must to have swimming pool, becauase weather is quite hot.

I had very warm welcome from Miguel's family and of course amazing delicious spanish food. But that is another story.

In pictures I saw Miguel's dog Busillo and I had image that he is quite big,but when I saw him in reality I was surprised, becuase he is small doggy. But so cuteee, all the time you want to fuffle up him.

That is how I remember my first day in Spain.

My graduation

Graduation in our university talars looked impressive and persons who graduated were many- that why graduation reminded some how conveyer- but main thing I graduated. 4 year studies is finished:) And my fried Irina congratulated me:)

Tijas name day

Latvians celebrate name days:) Yes we do... Almost everybody has name day in calendar... Name days celebration is similar to birthday celebration and we give presents too... So Me and Solvita decided to buy as present -book about Black Public relations in Russia and beautiful neckless- woman weakness:) And Tija as present for herself bought perfume:))))
Our celbreation continued with bowling game- what can I say I am absolutelly crap in this game, all my shots are to another side not to skittles...
An yeahh pancaked- did you ate packackes with cinnamon and banana- I advice- njammmmi- That was our celebration food....
